Shari Short, LMFT, is the CEO and owner of Aloha Counseling LLC, a group practice with three Phoenix-area clinics and more than 35 clinicians. With over 20 years as a therapist, Shari is passionate about the growth of both clients and clinicians. She speaks nationally and internationally on topics related to therapy, leadership, and professional development.

 

Her experience practicing in Hawaii, Washington, and Arizona, combined with her background in leadership and business, has shaped her perspective on clinical work, supervision, and developing confident, authentic therapists. Shari especially enjoys mentoring emerging clinicians and helping them trust their clinical instincts while bringing their authentic selves to the work.

 

Grounded in family systems theory, Shari is particularly interested in intergenerational patterns and how our family experiences shape our relationships, identities, and lives.
