Presenter: Amanda Mowbray
Amanda Mowbray, LMFT,
Amanda Mowbray is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and (most importantly) human. Formally trained in EFT and EMDR, Amanda is honored to continue her growth and clinical knowledge by witnessing the healing journey of her clients. As a natural systems thinker, Amanda is passionate about exploring the story around the person through an attachment-grounded lens. This perspective applies to her approach with clients and supervisees alike.
After nearing burnout as a solo practitioner, Amanda opened Collaborative Counseling Institute alongside her friend and colleague, Melanie Scott. Together they have owned and operated a successful group private practice providing quality supervision to clinicians across the developmental spectrum.
Although she values her license, certificates, and clinical trainings, Amanda enjoys deepening her understanding of human connection through experiences with others. She enjoys conceptualizing high-acuity cases and formulating effective intervention approaches with colleagues as much as she loves venting with her friends over perfectly crisped breakfast potatoes. She is confident that growth as a clinician comes from connecting and relating through our most unique and vulnerable moments.
